Hello! Just published my conversation with the legendary Tim Pierce.

He shared great stores and insights about being a session player, digital vs. analog recording and the changing role of the guitar in popular music.

That was excellent. I liked the examples he provided with specific artists.

I also checked out Grissom, Chamberlin and Sayce - thank YOU for introducing me to Podcasts :)

Well researched, good exchanges and insightful. It seems like the interviewees were also enjoying it and not just going through the motions.

    Cheers

Will check these out - listening to Pete Thorn - didn't realize he was a fellow Canadian. The podcasts have been great company as I battle jet lag.

He's a bad ass. I bought his studio lesson package and I'll subscribe to the channel. He's a great teacher. The lag time between his mind-fingers-mouth is nonexistent. Also, his knowledge of the fretboard is scary. Some people are just born talented.

You've got some great artists on your Podcasts! I have to do a bit more driving than I like these days, and really enjoy listening to music-related discussions and interviews with musicians: this is a great find -- thanks!

Thank you everyone for the positive feedback.

My next two guests are both legendary drummers: Alex Acuña (Weather Report, Paul McCartney, Chick Corea, Lee Ritenour, etc.) and Kenny Aronoff (John Mellencamp, John Fogerty, Bob Seger, Chickentfoot and a million others).

Keep an eye out for them!

Wow. This guy...I always liked him, respected him....but man this guy has a really good handle on how music continues to evolve and a clear and concise way of expressing his opinions.

He is a rare dude, a musician with opinions not based on his short-comings or lack of understanding of the fine innerworkings of the music industry, and pop culture in general, but based on a clear eyed, ego-free observations.

Tim is a really great guy. He comes across very upbeat and friendly in his videos, and in person, he's just as nice.

    And what a guitarist!

Listened to the Matt Schofield one this morning. Excellent interview. I like how you avoided the predictable questions and you also brought in comments made by other players to see how his perspective related.

Ive enjoyed all of the myth vs craft interviews as they are well researched before they begin. You tend to pick intelligent artists which makes listening that much better. A good example is Jimmy Chamberlin. Thanks for these!!
