Let's try NOT to talk about the Turbo Tuner (except in this first post).

Don't get me wrong, I LOVE mine, but I haven't seen a tuner thread yet that doesn't have it mentioned (I'm as guilty as anyone)

So lets see if we can do it!

Pitchblack for my electric rig (though possibly going to a Polytune Mini for space).

Used to use a TU-2 for the acoustic rig, but recently switched to the Planet Waves clip-on tuners so my acoustic signal path is completely clean (Taylor balanced output straight into the snake.)

Used my TU-12 out of my old Volume pedal back in the day and loved it, but the Pitchblack bug bit me.

Two Pitchblacks, two Snarks, four different applications, all good.

I like my Snark clip-on, when I don't want to plug in or don't have my board handy.

If you need a quick, accurate tuner, then there is only one best. Guess which one?

    I've used:

    Sabine Rack Tuner RT-1601
    Boss TU-12
    Boss TU-2
    Korg Pitchblack
    TC Polytune
    Snark Clip On

Then I got the...and it's more accurate (.02 cents) and faster than anything I've used! There, I said it, without saying "it"!

Exactly, not sure I understand the point of intentionally not talking about the best tuner ever made....when it isn't very expensive.

Doing so will inevitably turn into a bashing thread.

    This tuner isn't very good
    This tuner doesn't track well
    This tuner isn't very accurate
    This tuner is poorly made

This site should serve as an educational beacon for consumers.....so if we are avoiding discussing the best tuner ever made in this thread, we should be pointing out the flaws of other tuners. Correct?
