After a brief waiting period, a new Danocaster should be in my hands in a few days.

Much thanks to Dan for his efforts and work.

    She looks beautiful.

    Very excited here....

    Sweet.

I still have a few months wait for mine - should be somewhere around August.

The next few "in-transit" days for you are going to D R A G. LOL

But you should have the new Tele by the weekend!

    Your guitar looks great.

Question.....how did you decide which pickups to go with? Dan uses a few different types right.....budz, lollar, voodoo.....just wondering how the decision making process works or did Dan just pick them for you?

Thanks all for the nice words.

When we were speaking about the guitar I told Dan what style of music I play and the kind of amp I play through and then got out of his way until it was completed.

I've read enough to know I could trust his judgement. Also with the quality pickup he has at hand I didn't think it would sound bad no matter what he chose.

Just awesome! Dan has my blackguard right now and it will be coming home next week...I know how you feel.

Such great guitars and Dan is a class act on top of that.

    Just a quick review.

    I love it.

    ===End of review.===

I'm hesitant to give rambling honeymoon reviews so all I will say now is that the guitar is just great.

Since everyone 'feels' guitars differently all I will say is it's a great instrument.

    I love it.

I would not hesitate if I was considering one.

Congrats on the new Dano, brother! Looks sweeeeet :)

Pound for pound, my Danos are two of the best guitars I've ever owned -- and I've owned most of the all-time classic vintage Gibsons and Fenders.

Then there's Dan's customer service, which is simply as good as it gets. Never met a nicer guy or better craftsman.

Danocasters are Custom Shop killers IMHO. You play 'em side by side, you go home with the Dano. Of course, being the Internet, YMMV.

Custom ordered my first Dano on reputation alone, never having played or even seen one in the flesh. Dan was extremely patient with me, going over the build in very precise detail so I'd know exactly what I'd be getting. Six months later, this beauty showed up at my door. Suffice to say, you can't go wrong with Dan Strain and Danocaster :)
