Incoming Vox AC4TV head.......Which cab/speaker combination for it?

I just pulled the trigger on a Vox AC4 head in the Emporium today. I need to get a 16 OHM speaker cab to go with it.

The only cab I have right now is an Avatar 1x12 wired at 8 OHM.

What cab and/or speakers make this amp shine?

I will be using it primarily for small gigs and home practice.
Is a 2x12 overkill for these situations? I would think a 2x12 would make this little guy sound great!!

Put an alnico blue in your 1x12 cab. It will sound fantastic.

I also ran mine through a 4x12 with greenbacks and it sounded great.

Thanks for the offer but I think it will be cheaper for me to simply buy a 16 OHM speaker to put in my current cab.

True, but it wont look as nice. :0) Seriously though, how do you like your Jet City compared to the Vox?
