3. When Billy Preston showed up at the studio to sit in. You could see them all sit up straight and react to the change in energy and dynamic. I've had that experience of someone really good join a group and make everyone else better. Was exhilarating to watch.

They really did perk up a bit when Billy showed, didn't they!

And his playing brought some flair, warmth, soul and funk that had been lacking beforehand.

Very fortunate that he was able to contribute.
