Haven't been able to play in a while with everyone getting that f'ing cold thats been going around.

This is a purdy cool peice-o-music... Every have one of those moments where you're doing something and the soundtrack is playing in your head? Well... me and the wife were out looking at the stars a couple nights ago... and... well... here it is.

Another instrumental

Lemme know whatcha think...

Very nice, indeed. Besides Vai and Satch, I can hear maybe a little Becker influence in there?

I like the harmonic-y stuff at the beginning and end, as well as the whammy "flutter" stuff near the end. The apreggiated chords are really sweet, too.

This song is right up my alley as far as the type of instrumental stuff I love to listen to and play. Of course, you got a bit more fast and fluid legato stuff than I do - I've been off any real practice schedule for a few years :)

So far, I've enjoyed everything of yours I've listened to.

Hi ToneGod,

I debating weather to use the expression "stunning" or "jaw dropping" to describe my reaction to this tune. So to avoid a problem I think both are apt under the circumstances. Just wonderful. Tune, sounds, tune development, melodic ideas. Everything got me going!

I haven't heard anything by Vai, Satriani or Becker that spoke to me musically but you tune is a full conversation.

Thanks for sharing!

Cheers,

Wow... thanks for all the feedback! Coming from this crowd... it means a lot to me!

myles loud - Same guy that plays on all my stuff... my bestest bud, Shane! Da Man! Everything is tracked to a click for initial ideas... then once the rythems are down... he'll come over and lay down a scratch track. Once the solos are finished... he lays down the final tracks to catch certain accents in the solo phases. He is, simply put, a monster player.

Again... I REALLY appreciate all the feedback!

Great playing and writing! Love it. Reminds me of my favorite Satch stuff from Not of This Earth. Not at all the same though. You play great and I dig this a bunch.
