What's with the trend lately to insert your user name into the picture? Noticed it on a few threads...do people feel the need to PROVE that it's their board? Is it that serious?:D

yup, a some guy a few years back to a photo off photobucket and used it as his own.

I was just trying to prevent that this year.

those pictures were probably taken for the HCFX Battle of the Boards comp. It's a simple but effective way of proving the board in the picture is your own.

I don't think I've ever seen him post a 'gigable' setup. Here or while he was at HCFX.

Has anyone ever seen a board from him that could be used at a gig?
Fully wired up, powered and transportable.

I deleted some posts that reference a member who is suspended, since he cannot respond. I hope that folks understand.

I think pretty much everyone in the thread uses those boards when they play. AFAIK the board that is winning is the only one that doesn't get played as you see it.

  17. sorry, i wasn't aware that he was suspended.
Though i dont know why that means you have to delete posts about him.
    Seems kinda dramatic.

I wander over to HC now and then, and if i have a thread here that I think will be usefull to people I also post it on HC, tis nice to help the kids out now and then.
Funny, I won last years best mass produced pedalboard thread here on TGP last year, I've since upgraded my board to feature stuff never seen before on pedalboards (to the best of my knowledge) and on HC I only got 4 votes!!!
I think it's really healthy to have these kinds of contests because people tend to want to share their secrets once the voting gets started and I've yet to see a bad word in any of the threads. (even on HC). I'm a bit gutted because Lavaman offered a right angle pedalboard kit to the winners on HC, and I put myself in best big board and not mass produced this time round. Bummer!!!!!

All healthy stuff and makes good eye candy.
