7th Gen 32 GB ipad for recording. Any one using one?
That's a mighty broad query. Got any more specific questions/concerns?
I don’t mix on an iPad, but have tracked to one via an Apogee Quartet a bunch of times. Nice, quiet, dependable rig.
I import to Logic and edit / mix there. Largely out of habit, and I have my workflow - plug-ins, outboard, and monitoring in place.
I’ve been using an iPad Pro 256 gig for simple recording on garage band as well as a practice rig for playing and singing at the same time. Good for sketching ideas but I’d go full MacBook Pro if I wanted more polished results.
I want to to record songs to garage band with guitar and bass and use what GB has as far as drums and other instruments to add to the song.
I’ve done some multi track demos on mine with a Quartet and recording with Auria Pro
This can absolutely be done.
I use an audient id4 interface with a camera adapter and an external USB power bar. It’s been a good introduction to recording.
And the songs can be moved to logic if you choose to upgrade.
should be fine. have fun.
I do this with irig pro io.
Its a fun and simple way to record and with all the options drum wise thru garageband its a no brainer.
