ipod nano vs lovepedal cot50...

    I'd go for the Nano. I think the real question here is: What would the Nano sound like through the COT50? And...where should you put it in the pedal chain?

    I love this thread. It really breaks it down. I vote iPod, I betcha got a whole bunch of pedals... or get a shuffle and a Barber DD

    Get an iRiver ($99 and no stinkin' Shuffle limitation) and a Timmy!

    +1 Iriver sounds better than the ipod to my ears when cranked it retains the clarity of the music.

    Get a Creative "Zen".... Much cheaper..and it has FM. Then get the other Zen. The Hermida kind.

    in 6 months they will be giving away those ipod nano's in boxes of cap'n crunch but the cot50 will still be on your pedalboard kickin out killer plexi tones

    Screw the Nano, bump it up $49 and get the 30 gig iPod. As far as sound goes, be sure to utilize the eq settings.

    Two years ago I had the choice of getting a new ipod or seeing Phish in Miami for a 4 night NYE run. I chose the latter and have never regretted it one day. I don't know that this will help you, I just felt like typing it.

    COT50 . . . . . .I almost always vote for the thing that will help me do something rather than passively listen . . . . .the IPODS are cool though.
