As the question asks. Some of my music DVDs aren't released as audio CDs and I'd love to be able to put them on my Ipod.

Is there any software to seperate the audio from the video on a DVD, then convert the audio, so it will play on my Ipod? :dunno

Any help would be greatly appreciated. :)

vlc will also allow you rip the sound from a DVD. VLC is my goto media player. It plays everything and well.

I don't recall the brand used but I've done this. Not all of my DVD's were able to be extracted and some of them came over as a single file which was annoying, but yes it is possible.

I'm currently entertaining my 2 dqughters + 2 granddaughters, so am unable to try any of your suggestions.

My main PC is linked to my TV and we're all watching kids TV on Netflix:bonk

I'm typing this on my netbook, which doesn't have a CD drive, so I'm a bit stuck:p

Please keep the suggestions comin guys and I'll investigate when I can get at my PC.:bounce
