Is Reverb payments broken?

    I sold a pedal recently, after Reverb changed its payment process last month. The buyer paid immediately and left great feedback, but now the Reverb system has no way to add my bank account to withdraw the money. Multiple contacts with Reverb customer support, emailed Reverb’s CEO, but no fix from Reverb after weeks. Reverb has my money, and there is no way to withdraw it.

    Anyone else have the same problem?

    I have not noticed this, but if true I’m taking down all my listings immediately

    I just checked. Still under 'Shop Settings/Polices'. No issues.

    I got a call from a friend today who is having the same problem. Needless to say hes canceling his account he pretty irrate for a mild mannered guy.

    Wait, Reverb has been holding your money for weeks and you’re just now making a TGP thread about it?!

    That’s where it is supposed to be (as I’ve told Reverb multiple times), but it doesn’t appear there for my account. That’s the problem which they aren’t fixing, which is why they still have my money.

    Figured I would give them time to fix it, which they haven’t done yet. Hence the thread.

    That's so odd. Maybe I can see it (and change it) because it was already there prior to whatever issue?

    I did test if I could change it. It appeared as though I could.

    Sorry about that. I hope they get it fixed soon for you. That sucks to have your own money sitting there with no way to get it.

    I got on a chat window with one of their guys yesterday, who checked my account and couldn’t see anything that I had done wrong. He wrote that the problem must be on their end, which is what it looks like. But still no fix.

    They’re supposed to immediately send the money to your bank and it be there the next morning. Hasn’t happened for me yet. Last time took three days to send and two more to hit the account. They’ve fallen into the dumpster since they were bought out. Good luck on getting them to fix it.

    You’re lucky - you can get your money out after a few days. I can’t get mine out at all.

    Thanks for the suggestion, and that might work if I my Reverb account made it possible to add my bank account. But it doesn’t, so I can’t. That’s why Reverb still has my money.

    I don’t trust I’ll get it until it gets there. So much in fact, I’m likely done selling there. Your situation is further proof I’m risking it each time I do.
