Is the Casio CZ-101 or the Roland JV-30 collectible?

I'm going to sell both of these old keyboards soon.
The prices I saw online were much higher than I expected.
Are either of these collectible or are people just pricing them high?

Thanks!

I doubt any body is stockpiling these in a collection. More likely buyers are guys wants his first keyboard back for nostalgia. Or want a particular patch that only the jv30 has.

Check sold values on eBay. The Roland is worth around $300, the Casio about $500. If they’re in excellent condition complete with all original packaging and accessories, you can expect to get more for them.

The Casio CZs have been climbing. There’s been a bit of a resurgence in interest in digital synthesis, particularly FM and PD. They’ve even made a few virtual CZ plugins and stand-alones.

The CZ-101 has many fanboys and distinct sound. Not a highly sought after collectable but still should retain and increase in seale prices.

The JV-30 has been replaced by many of Roland's later synths.

I got a cz1000, same as 101 but full sized keys, about 15 years ago and still have it in a warehouse somewhere. It was ok for what I was doing then but I could never get a sound that didnt sound like it was from an early 80s video game. In fact I avoid patches that sound like that board.
