I spent a while looking around the internet this morning, and no one has these..Zzounds and American Musical both list them as "discontinued" or "not available", and even Sweetwater shows them as out of stock..

Not that I have the money to get one, but it looks as though about the only place to get one is from the ProStar Audio guys on Ebay..although there are some listed as "new" but posted as really cheap, but from places I never heard of..

So maybe they just sold out over the holidays? But if so, why would several of the "Biggie" resellers have them as "discontinued"..?

I am still hoping for a winning Lotto ticket, so I am always looking at "stuff", but even after the troubles I had with a used unit and Digidesign, I would hate to see them obsoleted already..

I am just curious is all..I don't mean to start some sort of panic.
Hell, I cannot even afford to buy one, but I am surprised by the "lack" of these units on big online resellers websites..

Don't you guys think it is kinda weird?

I would sort of expect this if it was a couple months before NAMM and we knew they were about to announce "the next big thing from Digidesign".. but as far as I know, they got nuthin'..! Right?

+1. Likely a rebranding effort, nothing more.

I think that it's a combination of the EXRP and PT10 being in there. Both are considered charged 'upgrades'...this way you can go ahead and pay for both whether you want them or not.

I'll save the rest of my snarky comments to myself.

I have an 11R and while it sounds good to me, their stupid upgrade policies are really making me avoid recommending it to anyone and has me considering selling mine.

I am a very happy Eleven R owner. It does everything I expected and more. I see no reason to look any futher. I am one of the lucky ones who purchased at Hello music for a great price and then recieved an e-mail from Avid for a free upgrade from thr Pro Tools 8 that it came with to Pro Tools 10. They also gave me the expansion pack for free. Needless to say I am quite pleased. Russ
