Is the Over the Mountain drum intro from another song?

    It's very close to the drum intro from Pictures Of Home.

    People, on TGP anyway, have suggested it sounds a bit like It Makes No Difference by Pat Travers.

    I think it's just a generic drum fill personally. Vinnie Colliuta plays something similar on Zappa's Tinseltown Rebellion album (from memory I think the track is Blue Light), also it's not a million miles away from the double-drummer fill in Zappa's Trouble Every Day (the one that Chester Thompson & Phil Collins would quote in live versions of afterglow with Genesis).

    Just about every drummer I've played with has played a variation of this kind of thing at one time or another.
