I'm confused - they still have link on their site, but no ability to purchase as far as I can tell. Nor are there any for sale on ebay from anyone.

So is this discontinued? Are there any alternatives that also can fit underneath a nano or nano+?

I contacted them a few weeks ago and they plan on re-issuing it next month with some minor tweaks. I'm waiting.

    Their exact words:

"Thank you for writing in. We are still fine-tuning this product and estimate a May launch."

Also, per Pedaltrain, same pricing as first generation.

I had the old one and it didn't charge all the way up after a few recharges. I'm sure I wasn't the only one.

I've had one for about a year and it has worked flawless! I've played 3 hour sets and never had it run out on me.

Interesting video - I use mine to power a digital Atomic Amplifire and will try with a Digitech Trio plus this weekend. What was the issue with non-analog setups??

Same here, no issues or complaints with mine. Works great for me.

I bought one of the first ones. It went out after about 4 months of use. I was powering a tuner an OD and a small delay. It just simply stopped working one day. The store was quick to take it back and they sent me a replacement and I have had no problems since then.

I've used a Sanyo Pedal Juice for 6-7 years, maybe more. I used it again last night for a 4 hour gig and it's still got plenty of charge (LED goes green/yellow/red and it' still in green). The setup I had last night pulled a total of 243 mA.

Also have had a Volto for 3-4 years and it has worked flawlessly. Volto does not run as long as the Sanyo, but I've got no trouble at all getting a gig, maybe 2 out of a single charge.

The only non-analog issue I can speak to is that my digital pedals pull significantly more mA than analog, reducing the power time significantly.

For example, the TC HOF Mini Reverb pulls 100mA.
A Phase 90, Sunface, Timmy, SL Drive, and Carbon Copy combined only pull 48. (With the Carbon Copy accounting for over half of that.) Leaving digital pedals off the board will greatly increase the power time.

I bought 2 early Volto units, one failed within a month or so, and was replaced with a later version (with 2 extra green LEDs). Both that one and the other original one have worked flawlessly for nearly 3 years. I'm looking forward to picking up at least one of the revised models when they launch, as they're really useful, particularly for grab'n'go / jam rigs.

    Still waiting... :waiting

I actually got this reply from customer service today:
    Thanks for writing in!
The Volto is currently sold out worldwide, but we will be introducing a new version this month and it will be available at most major retailers.
Stay updated with our social media to find out when!
As of right now, we have not set the price yet.

    Thank you,
    Pedaltrain Customer Service

    I dunno...
I think this is to be taken with a grain of salt, as when I asked about the new Volto a couple of months ago they said it'd be released by the end of June.

But I do hope it's true this time, as I'm about to move away and the PT Nano + Volto 2 would be a great travel option.

I thought the Volto was complete garbage. Cioks DC5 is far superior in every way.
