Is the Strymon favorite switch worth the expense?

You could build one very easily, or have someone else build one. It won't have the same enclosure, but it'll be functionally identical. I'll help you with one if you're interested.

The answer is yes! I keep my pedal set for 1/4 notes and have used the Favorite setting for:
-A Looper
-Spring Reverb (with a faint 1/16 slapback)
-.8ths (with everything else set the same as my 1/4 note setting)

BTW, I have the PRESET by Railhead Effects. It's much smaller and only $35

It's much cheaper than buying a second el cap, espesially if you go for a railhead or t1m.
