Is the Strymon favorite switch worth the expense?

I have an El Cap and I am wondering if I should get one? Is it really useful?

You could build one very easily, or have someone else build one. It won't have the same enclosure, but it'll be functionally identical. I'll help you with one if you're interested.

The answer is yes! I keep my pedal set for 1/4 notes and have used the Favorite setting for:
-A Looper
-Spring Reverb (with a faint 1/16 slapback)
-.8ths (with everything else set the same as my 1/4 note setting)

BTW, I have the PRESET by Railhead Effects. It's much smaller and only $35

Haha, but seriously, Favourite Switch is awesome... I love that I can recall my favourite BSR settings on the fly.
