Would you like to see (1) an improvement/alteration made to an existing model, or (2) something that incorporates one or more elements/features from other models, or (3) something from the past resurrected with minor/major improvements/alterations?

How about a Gibson Les Paul body with a 25.5" scale neck, with three Fender Stratocaster pickups, Alder body, Maple neck and fingerboard with newly-created fret markers. Might be interesting. Paulocaster.

I'd love a Reverend Double Agent with a Railhammer in the bridge, string through hardtail, no binding, and with a control layout more like my Sensei has (instead of a Tele control plate and the BCC on the upper bout of the body).

Not really, but I wouldn't mind if standards remained standard, instead of changing every few years.

How about a strat with a fat neck?

I quit on Fender years ago because of the poly and skinny necks.

I’d like to see Hamer make guitars in the US again and reopen their Illinois headquarters so I can take a tour.

And factory coil taps on their models. That’s about it.

Maybe they do in some of the Fender Customs but is there a Fender elite with more switching options for pickups?

If not, I want fender to release Pros series guitars that can run in series or parallel.

All you gotta do is play it for a while and it won't be sticky anymore...

A Gibson USA Standard with single piece body, long neck tenon, and true ABR1... made in 2019/2020.

some of them, i think some of them never become unsticky. I had my Wildwood thin skin JM for a year before I decided "**** this", and just decided to send it to Marty Bell, he did one light coat of poly and now its like glass. No tone change that i could hear. Highly recommended

I'd like to see Rickenbacker offer more '60s spec guitars, ie: a 22-fret 335, 365, etc. with toasters and the old 7.25" neck radius.

PRS to do DGT in mahogany as a regular option (instead of only maple cap) and offer a stoptail option

Gibson need to revisit the Victory MVX. 3 'staple' pickups, set neck, 25.5" scale, exclusive licence with someone like Vega-Trem or CSL for a vibrato, Freeway switch, volume, tone, full range of classic metallic colours and so and and so forth.

A 50s style Gibson Flying V made of korina; not a $6000 custom shop and not a Epiphone plastic toy. Price it in line with SG and Explorer Standards. I’ve been asking for this for years....

I would love it if Gretsch and Reverend offered 7 string versions of their flagship models with whammy bars. I would love it if Ibanez made a neck-through S model 7 string with a whammy...

Oh yeah, it'd be nice if Gibson applied the Nighthawk pickup set up (slanted double coil / single / Firebird) with a bit more thought (reverse the slant of the bridge double coil, make the double coil magnet poles, remove the surround) to a full size LP body. 25.5" scale length, reverse Firebird headstock, ash body, roasted maple neck.

I'd like to see Epiphone do a "'60s Series" where they bring back the Sheraton, Riviera, etc with their original mini humbucking pickups.

It would also be cool to see Gibson put out a reasonably affordable (~$2000 or a touch less) Firebird VII.

Nothing real brand-specific, but in general, I'd like to see:
    • More companies offer stainless steel frets. It's hard for me to want to spend good money on a guitar without them.
    • Bolt on guitars with 25" or 24 3/4" scale. I can play 25.5" fine, but ideally my hands prefer the shorter scales.
    • More guitars outside of strats/superstrats with some sort of forearm contour or bevel. I like guitars of different styles, but don't like resting my arm on a corner when playing.
