By affordable-- let's say, under or close to $1200?

Just curious... SRV used one, and I always wanted to play out of one just to see what it's like...

I have a one from Feb 64, no other Fender like them. Rounder and thicker than a blackface super, but not as chimey. Mine is thundering loud and turned up with a tubescreamer can really rock out, also great for blues. Find a good tech and have one built, you won't be dissapointed.

You can try doing what i did, find a beat to **** non-master silverface super reverb(450.00).E-bay everything except the chassis, reverb pan and logo.Get a cab from JDnewell(200.00) a Allen multitap OT(60.00) and a speaker(?) I've got about 300.00 into mine tops.I've since done another up with a bandmaster reverb into a 1x12.
