ProGuitarShop just posted this pic on it's facebook with the heading "A little tidbit for speculation on a Monday morning"

    Begin speculation!

Sorry if this has already been posted (search turned up no results). If so, let me know and I'll gladly delete.

Looks like Lovepedal's version of a Flashback to me

Hmm, the only visible difference that might suggest a functional change is the mix rather than fx level. I tend to prefer an FX level knob since that only effects the delay volume while a mix usually effects both, balancing a ratio of dry and wet effect.

What's with the Binson Echorec in the background? The Flashback isn't normally known for getting those tones, is it? Granted, I don't know much about the Flashback... Maybe a new Toneprint?

Hmm, good point, I didn't notice, but that makes me think - the Flasback had a 'Tape' setting, which is replaced with ER on that unit, so maybe the Tape sound was replaced with an Echorec emulation.

Actually the LoFi setting on the original was replaced with ER in this photo. Also Dynamic is replaced with DMM.

Other differences, FX Level is replaced with MIX and Feedback is replaced with Regen

Yep, you are correct, I didn't look close enough.

I don't know if there is any difference between regen and feedback, but I had noticed that.

I agree. ProGuitarShop may just be trying to cause a ruckus by posting a photoshopped photo. Or it may just be a photoshopped mockup for a new toneprint.

They did the VMSD, so this looks legit.
I'm guessing it's their version with more vintage echo's/delay's.

I don't find the "dynamic" mode to be all that useful - comes in too fast and loud, so trading that for DMM would be fine. I wish it had 2-3 toneprint slots...

It wouldn't surprise me if it was a PGS exclusive pedal that they are working on with TCE. Seems like a cool idea.

Yes, and if you look closely the box is wider where the PolyTune window used to go... All toneprint pedals have this, but I can't see a reason for another manufacturer to share that design feature.

Interesting. I'd love to see something outside of the box from TC. The Toneprint line is really underutilized and a little unimaginative right now, IMO.

Outside the box? I think TC has been in the fore front of innovative thinking w/ the Toneprint program and the smartphone Toneprint technology.

If PGS leaked it, i doubt it's photoshopped. They've been working w/ TC Electronics w/ the iB thing exclusively. I doubt this is all a hoax, you're talking about 2 reputable businesses. There is nothing photoshopped about the photo, it's all about lighting and depth of field.

If I had to guess... the 'LOFI' algo has been replaced with a Binson Echorec sim (Andy's favorite) and 'DYN' has been swapped with a DMM emulation. Maybe some other refinements ala Vintage Modified Superdelay, but probably not.
