I dont think so.. at first - it's sounds exactly like him - even his gestures and mannerisms - but listen all the way to the end and his voices changes and it certainly doesnt sound like JB anymore

the 1st minute, - definitely SOUNDED like it could've been

    my vote - no way

Not him. Has anyone actually seen Jack Black even play an electric guitar outside of "School of Rock"?

good god, has anyone here listened to Tenacious D? there's no way it's him, half the time it sounds like another person

Jack Black really has time for 60 pedal demo videos? no

If I was JB I'd rather be hanging out with model chicks than makin' pedals and demos...add a day job obligations and that leaves no time for this geardude business! :banana

Not that I don't hang out with model chicks on regular basis anyway:)

    nope..
    he's married...not gonna hang w/model chicks
    a music nerd..
has an insanely cool little studio setup..a pretty large guitar collection.
including the lefty airline (left hand version of his arch nemesis; Jack WHITE)
and check out all the posters and style of his place ("gearmanndudes den"
...so I'll say again, I think it IS him.

but you never know, I guess.

He can be seen playing "Squeeze Box" on an accoustic on the VH-1 "The Who" rock honors show.
