Now, I don't know if alot of you are familiar with these bands, but I've been hearing about the H&K Triamp MKII lately.
I like the idea of the "little amps" inside one big amp to achieve different tones.
    I currently own a Bogner Ecstasy 101b.
Would the Triamp get me these tones better than the Ecstasy?
    Clean:
    - "Slow Dancing in a Burning Room" by John Mayer (Two Rock)
    Dirt:
    - "The Pornagrapher's Daughter" by Northstar (Mix of Marshalls, 5150 an Mesa)
    - "No Son of Mine" by Every Time I Die (Mix of Bogner [not sure if it's uber or xtc], Framus, AC30 an JCM800)
    - "The Earth Will Shake" by Thrice (Mix of AC30 an JCM800)
    High Gain:
    - "For the Workforce, Drowning" by Thursday (Mix of XTC an JCM900)
    - "Ebolorama" by Every Time I Die (JCM800 an...AC30?)
    - "Nerdy" by Poison the Well (5150)

I also play a bit of Hendrix an Eric Johnson here an there.
The majority uses a Marshall JCM 800, Vox AC30, and an Ecstasy.
So which amp do you guys think will get me more in the ballpark?
    The Ecstasy or the Triamp?
If you feel there's a better amp than these two for aforementioned tones, please feel free to state.

I have played both those amps on many occasions and I think the H&K is by far the more versatile amp. The Bogner is a very very (extremely) good amp for nailing that hotrodded plexi tone, but to me, if you want that versatility, the Triamp Mk II gives you all that because each of the three channels has an A/B mode. It's on my short list of must-have amps- plus it looks so damn cool with those purple/blue lights! Go play for yourself and see, but from what you're describing, yes, this amp would do you real good.

You get great Twin like cleans wiht a Triamp.
You can also do all the MArshall sounds.
YOu can eq teh last channel to be very Mesa like, and I have a rectifier and a IIC+ in the same room as my Triamp to do the comparisons.
Vox Ac30 sounds, I'm not so sure, depends on just how close you want to get. They might be there, but I don't have a Vox, so I could not say.

    EXT = XTC right?

Ive been trying to find a dealer around me.
Closest one is an hour away.
Looks like its a trip that I must take.
    Thanks

Thank you for your help. I truly appreciate it.

So, the ENGL wouldn't do as well as the Triamp in this situation?

Try an Egnator Mod 50. You can switch in a vox module and a sl2 module and get most of those tones, esp with a boost pedal in front as well.

    Whats your budget?

I would say an hour drive for a 3k amp is better than asking here. There are a lot of good opinions but only yours counts. Now if you ask me the cosmetics look like something from sport and compact car rather than an amp, little too fast and furious. Oh and for the money you could be better off with an AC30 and a JCM800 and be in better shape if you want to pass them on. There is a lot more buyers for a 1k amp than a 3k amp in the used market.
