The Tall Ships is an amazing album. When Francis Dunnery left the band I assumed it was all over but this album is just fantastic. They have a new album out in March. I can't wait. I would charachterise the music as a cross between Duran Duran and Yes. Great melodies and top notch musicianship, really, really great.

They were great. Their bad luck was coming at a time when ' prog rock' was on the outs. They opened for Tull on a full tour of the U.S.. First lp was produced by Alan Shatlock of Babe Ruth & what a killer. Too bad Dunnery became an alkie which caused all the probs. Best hopes for better days
