My Driskill was started during the Nixon administration...it is almost done.

My Driskill has been on order so long, that the wood is aged just from the building process.

My Driskill is so old, the Brazilian rosewood fretboard is from Brazil before it was even a country.

My Driskill has been on order for so long, it has seen two recessions.

My Driskill has been on order so long, Joe's children will have to finish building it, and he doesn't have any yet.

    You get the idea...:D

Hooray for you and all who sail in you.

    ,Damian.

P.S. I bought a thing too. Probably not the same thing as you did but a thing nonetheless.
I`m very happy with it although I had to make some small adjustments.

It`s not the same as some of the other things although this may not necessarily be a problem once it has settled in/ warmed up/ changed colour.

That thing is not the same as the first thing , sentence wise.

Although I could probably get by without it ( the aforementioned modifications notwithstanding), I do find it increases most days.

    Hey Fretnot,
Your guitar is getting sprayed by this weekend, along with 5 others, and you ordered it 18 months ago. While your little jingle could be cute, it's inaccurate and misleading. :crazy

    Shane S,
I don't know who you are. I emailed you to ask. Do you have a guitar that was ordered? If so, let me know. I have about 15 going right now with tons of parts made up for a lot more. I'm getting tons of stuff done but don't know who you are or if you have one on order since I don't know your name. Let me know. Thanks.

Don't take it so hard. Wasn't trying to mislead anyone, and if you think that I am trying to mislead others, that obviously isn't the case, as almost everyone who posted previous to me stated you as who they though the builder was. I am not bashing you, or starting threads about your wait times, or anything to that effect. I think I have been very cordial. I'm sorry if my remark making light of the subject offended you.

No problem. I just was in kindergarden or 1st grade when Nixon was in office and didn't even know about guitars then. :BEER

You were probably too busy making a lunch box out of NASA titanium to think about guitars. :roll

Yes, and it had the Planet of the Apes on the first one, and the second one had Keith from the Partridge family on it. The Brady Bunch lunchbox was run over by the family Pacer or was it a Pinto? :D
