iTunes Problem. Any help?

I put a lot of my song ideas down on voice memos on my phone.

I recently updated to the new iTunes, and now my phone won't synch, which means that it won't transfer my new voice memos into that folder.

Anyone deal with this? Find a solution?

My phone just won't synch at all with iTunes. Thanks

Have you Googled "*insert phone model here* won't sync with iTunes version xxxxxxx" to see if anyone else has had this problem and if they did, how it was fixed?

If you subscribe to iCloud, you can transfer your phone files to a cloud directory

Check to see if iCloud Drive is enabled

If you search and add the words "apple support" you will find the same documents provided Apple employees, with the exception of confidential memos.

If you remove the Apple support from the search and add a few obscenities, you'll find the individual who finally found a solution, too.

Typically there is one Voice Memos that is corrupt that is blocking the sync.

Search for a Voice Memo on your device that won’t play or sounds awful.

When I work at Apple Tech Support that’s how I fix it for people. Find that (usually only one) Voice Memo that is corrupt and delete it and then it will Sync again.

In the meantime you can use something like Phoneview or similar software to get your stuff over to your computer.

iTunes weirdness... I noticed this recently as well, I think it used to automatically sync? Anyway, I just now went to the Voice Memos page in iTunes and hit the sync button there. Seemed like nothing was happening, so I decided to try AirDrop instead. AirDrop is quirky, but I did get the files to transfer, and then when that was done, I looked at iTunes again and the files were there as well. So...
