Jacksnax: Enclosures 101

    Hi TGP!

    A student of mine asked me to show him a melodic line that utilizes an enclosure...I mentioned this idea in a few lessons, and he was a little confused as to what I meant.

    I then took it one step further and came up with a video that shows the line played against a bunch of different chords types so players can hear it in various harmonic situations.

    The lesson has a very, very broad, concept based approach...but still has a good bit of specific examples of the technique being used by playing the same lick against various chords.

    My hope is that this video helps introduce Rock and Blues players to this awesome improvisational tool...
