    I've got a 64 jag that pickups died.
    After a little e-hunting im jealous. Their are so many drop in options for teles,strats and LP's. Less than a handfull for Jags. Which brings me to my question:

    Which pickups do you recommend for a jaguar?
    has anyone seen rails that would work?

    I don't want to do any routing on an original 64!

    thanks in advance!

    I would take the guitar to a trusted repair person just to make sure the pickups aren't dead. If they are, send them to Curtis Novak to have them rewound.

    The Fender American RI pickups are great, sound like a Jaguar should.

    Many will attest to the quality of these pickups on this site.

    Another vote for Novaks, either a rewind or replacement check out his website and drop him a line. His pickups are well regaurded over at Offsetguitars.com and they know a lot about Jags/Jazz etc;
