I can pick up the Jaguar Twin used for about the same price of the new '68 Vibrolux . . . any advice which is better for stuff like Contemporary Country, Cinderella/Tom Keifer type of tones?

A few links to consider:
1. Jag Twin Premier Guitar Review - http://www.premierguitar.com/articles/jaguar-twin-1

2. Musical Examples:
- Station/NYC - - Tom Keifer - Cinderella - - Pop Country -
Any input is greatly appreciated.
Thanks and Merry Christmas and Happy Holidays to all of you

The only TGP member I've ever seen claim to own a Jaguar twin is Motokev. Maybe you can contact him for his impressions of the amp

At that level, I'd find a vintage blackface Twin Reverb. They're cheap these days.

More contemporary country recorded with that than probably anything else...ever.
