The original inspiration for this tune was Jan Akkerman's Angel Watch, but you'd never know it now. Riviera Paradise is in there as well I guess.

The melody comes across as Satriani-ish mainly because of the octave above and below tracks.

It's a real mongrel of a peice, bits of everything.

    Hope you find it interesting.

Sweet composition & very nice guitar tones ..

Such a contrast from my band's clips with are totally on the stop jams ..

Is that an actual band... or sequenced parts,
and/or the instruments all played by you Bob ..?

I like that. Very nartural feel to the song. Good job. TT

I played all the parts in with a midi synth and got a drummer to play with the whole caboodle.

All the guitar parts were recorded with a Mesa Quad Preamp and an old Korg. A3. All the distortions were done by the A3; the Quad was just for warmth and tone shaping. Everything was recorded direct.

I like the Quads tones live but it doesn't seem to record as well as I'd like; at least not direct.

I bought a Keeley TS-9 baked o/d recently, I'm going to try that for some stuff as well.

I find it's really hard to find a tone that tracks well.
