I have a Greco LPC that I prefer to the Gibson LPC I had. Just a great guitar.

Edwards, Orville, Tokai, Bacchus, Ibanez, Aria Pro II, Burny, Greco, Epiphone Japan, Electra would be names to use in hunting one down

Edwards are actually mostly made in China, they are built and assembled in China and then shipped to the ESP factory for 'finishing.' Dunno what that means. Maybe electronics, fretwork.

The best Japanese made Les Pauls are Navigators. Made by ESP but with the best materials and specs. The prices are higher though.
