My shot at the backing track that Red Ant posted in his AF-85 clip.

I've been playing for a long time, but I'm pretty much a novice at recording, so this is me learning to record in n-tracks, mix, use the compressor plugin, etc.

Thanks, Anton. You know I always love your stuff. In fact, I'm planning on sitting down and stealing a couple of those killer altered runs you did on that porn clip. Muuhhhaaaahahhhaaa, they will be mine! :AOK

    Nice playing.

PS If you're looking for more jazz minor blues ideas there's a ton on 'Baby's Minor Lope' by Grant Green off his album Grant's First Stand.

    Sounds great.

May I ask, what equipment did you use to record it? Like you, I've been a player awhile, but I'm new to the whole recording thing.

    Thanks, Dana.

I ran an Epiphone Elitist 335 -> Vox Valvetronix ToneLab SE (Black 2x12 amp sim, Spring Reverb sim, Tweed 4x10 cab sim) -> m-audio Audiophile 2496 card -> PC running N-tracks.

I put the N-tracks compression plug-in on the guitar track and basically set it by ear. I'm not completely satisfied with that part, I still want to learn exactly how all that works.

    Thanks for listening!

Yeah man, real great stuff. Some nice triad work in there. That sliding chord sequence was really nice as well. Been trying some of that recently myself. well done.
