I think that's from the Rock n Roll Party DVD. He is my favorite all time player, but sometimes I think he's impersonating Nigel Tufnel :) interesting stuff on here though.

Wanted to see him bust out Floyd-equipped Jacksons! We're not all vintage heads :)

I think I remember him looking very funny when he used to play Jacksons... I might be wrong but I think he might have worn lipsticks then... but I guess Disco/post-Disco eras were very odd periods to adjust to for many cool musicians.

Me too. I can't find any info on those and have always been super curious.

Also, what happened to the Natural Les Paul, the Yardburst, and of course the original oxblood.

Probably what took him so long to do this was the comparo to the Spinal Tap scene of course - "Don't even look at it! None More Black! This Goes to 11!"

Is that a Floyd on the pink one? I have a pink Soloist but mine has a bridge humbucker and Shark inlays.

IIRC the orange Soloist had a Floyd and the pink one a Kahler of some sort.

Trivia: on the pink one, those markings between the vol pot and the lower horn are where Jeff had Tina Turner carve her signature.

I remember he had one Jackson that .. I think Tina turner carved her name in it with a switchblade... and painted it with a mixture of nailpolish and hobo blood. Jeff used that Jackson when he played the first rock concert on Phobos (that was the concert where he slayed a herd of amonia breathing space dragons who pushed their way to the front row and kept yelling " Plaaaay some Skiiiiiinerrrd... "

    Or something to that effect.

That's a really cool piece. The Esquire story is a heartbreaker.
