What model or even Toneprint would come the closest to Jeff Buckley's reverb sound(Alesis Quadraverb w/modded Taj Mahal setting). thanks!

not familiar with the pedal but he used fenders in the early stages, like Sin'e. He added mesa later on and ran them both for different things. So some sort of spring reverb sound would be a place to start.

He used an Alesis Quadraverb for Grace and the related tours (as video footage confirms). A Hall or Church setting with modulation would be a starting point for emulating that sound. The Sin-é tone, on the other hand, is clearly the spring reverb on his Fender Vibrolux (see 0:04 in "Eternal Life" for the telltale "sproing!").

I have the HOF and have played with almost all of the TP. IMO I don't think you can find a developed patch for that the best thing to do is download the TonePrint editor from TC's website and tweak a patch until you get where you need to be, it is a very simple piece of software to use. That was an Alesis unit he was using I had one in the 80's but that patch is very unique I don't think I have heard that reverb in a very long time.

Just picked up a HOF mini, could really use some help on this.
the mini will not get there at all unless someone releases a patch for that tone, with the HOF it probably is doable. try the TonePrint editor from TC's website. but will have to have a complete patch for it to work in the mini. If you want I can try to tweak a patch and see if I can get there. What is the name of the song you want to get closest to? I have done a few and it will take me a couple of days to make it for you.

I tried the Gary Lucas Toneprint which was supposed to be the "Grace" sound, but the modulation was too much. The tones he gets on "Grace" aare what I'm after. The HOF mini is going back - too limited. I'm going to get the regular HOF and see what i can do in the Toneprint Editor.

before you go with the HOF look at the TC arena its a monster and still uses TP technology. I will put that together this weekend send me a PM so I can get it to you. I just listened to that should be easy to do.

TC HoF is too clean for Jeff's reverb. Gotta take the rack size hit and get that grainy, low bitrate Quadraverb tech. <3

I exchanged the mini HOF for the regular HOF today. MUCH happier! I'm going to mess with the tone editor and see what i can come up with.
