So is this vid accurate?
Don't you mean flagrant fowels?
Something sure smells nice, by the way. It must be someone's cologne.
Looks like it to me.
I used to work with a couple of brothers who were often guilty of fragrant fouling. They called them "fart pockets."
Lol got me. Thread title edited from fragrant to flagrant.
Crap! Now we have talk about Jeremy Lin...
He has played damn hard for the Hornets this year.
I haven't watched Lin since he left NY...are other players head hunting him?
I got about halfway through before I got tired of it. The first one, Kobe, could have been called a flagrant, maybe. The rest, up to Harden's, no, not even really that close. He did get smacked a couple of times there, but it appears incidental to me. Guys get smacked in the face and head all the time. None of the incidents is close to the incidents they showed happening to other players, with the possible exception of Kobe's.
Whoever made the video gets a flagrant whining foul. Not saying Jeremy. I like Jeremy, solid player.
Check out 4:35 and 4:55. The second one is literally right in front of the ref.
Maybe. Hardly a "slam dunk" call. There has to be some intention. The example right after is ridiculous though, from the point of view of what the video is supposed to be proving.
I'm not suggesting there has never been a flagrant against Lin that didn't get called. But I watched the first six examples and five weren't even close. They lost me at that point. I have a feeling you could make a similar video with just about any NBA player. It's not a sport of wussies.
And again, I'm not calling Jeremy a wussie, in any way shape or form.
I'm actually surprised none of his teammates got up in the opposing players face.
Sucks to be Jeremy Lin.. lol
The dumbest Harvard grad ever, according to this guy
Though I don't look to Forbes for insights into the game of basketball.
Unless he learns how to fight back, I think he'll keep getting picked on.
Yeah, the Kobe foul and the Aldridge foul maybe. The rest? Not even close. And Kobe was, well, Kobe in the last year of his career while the Aldridge foul was in the playoffs. I don't see the problem.
