The pictures say $139, but the video says $99....?
they are $99 (at least everywhere in the US) as far as I can tell.
It’s an interesting concept. Nothing I really need right now but generally I am a fan of less knobs on a pedal not more so these look cool.

Keeping the boxes uniform with the same layout and only one screen printed side helps to keep the cost down apparently.

The white space seems to lend itself to some self expression DIY design. Which is cool.

JHS super budget line and it's still twice the price of a Boss pedal.

Not sure I really get that.
Boss has the efficiencies of selling a ludicrous amount of product having decades of manufacturing experience to make everything as cheap as possible, they are next door to all the part manufacturers in China, and Taiwan's wages are lower.

Josh claims his builders get paid a living wage, so somewhere in the neihborhood of 15 bucks an hour.

They sound good though, I feel like marketing them this way is more likely to get them lost in the market than stand out though.
It’s only twice the price of a Boss pedal as long as you want a DS-1 or an SD-1. Other than that it’s cheaper or on par with most Boss pedals.

A full range of pedals all at $99 is pretty good in my book.
