    He was on the cover of Guitar Player in the 80's I think, it was around the time he moved to memphis, said he got tired of LA, he mentioned that his all time favorite amp set up was two Super Reverbs up on chairs.

    he got such a crushing tone on this track. put the slide work aside.....as stellar as that is. the guitar has an awesome crunch.

    You need open "E" tuning for the slide work!
