John Fogerty is an American treasure.

The guy with the beard looks like the missing link between Leon Russell and Garth Hudson.

Too bad Springsteen wasn't in the video.

Thanks, I'm glad he's still making music. One of my favorite singer/player/song writers

After hearing the new Fogarty disk, me and my little trio started covering this tune. It's a great tune to harmonize on. We're playing it with a 6-string and 12 string acoustic and bass. I'm playing the lead parts on my Guild 12-string acoustic jumbo and it seems to work nicely.

Fogarty is the man. I love all his material from Creedence and thereafter.
His stuff sounds so simple, you hear it and say "I can do that". Then you try it and find out it's hard to nail the vibe, his chops, etc.

Wish I were there to sing along, drive-south.

Anybody else notice that Fogerty has just not changed one bit in all these years? Same voice, physique, hair, approach, everything. Man, whatever water he's been drinking, I want some.

'Scuse me. Make that, whatever water he's been chooglin'.....

The only guy I recall that aged as gracefuly as John was Dick Clark, from American Bandstand. He was 70 and still looked like a 20 year old kid.

I think he had quite some work done; facelift, bleached teeth/veneers, dyed hair/toupet maybe. He doesn't look that natural to me.
