He'll be Hawking it on Reverb within 6 months.
Any 80's guitar player...... lol
now maybe Eddie?
Would have rather seen the Ripper or Skull & Sword, but yeah, still cool.
Caballero? Nah, he deserves more than just a sticker; needs his own model. Thought I saw him playing a BC Rich in an article in TWS back in the day.
I believe Cab plays bass....
Still rocking out.
I think of all the brands that have moved out of the 80's Charvel has really made that transformation. I have a MIM SoCal, such a versatile guitar. And I don't get picked on at blues jams like I do with a pointy.
Waiting For The World To Change is going to sound so good on that thing.
Or maybe he just digs the guitar?
anyone know the price on this?
If it's in good shape, depending on when you were in sixth grade, it could be worth a bit of cash.
Yeah - very good shape. I wasn't a good skater! LOL!
I learned on a boneite Mcgill. It was my buddy's. My first board was a Cab w/ bats. I had quite a few after that. I won't comment on my skill level as Ray Barbee is a posting member and let's just say it wasn't near what he did.
That is a cool guitar.
I'll be interested to see how he makes use of the Floyd.
Nice! Me like.
Looks amazing. Happy he got to put together a dream guitar. It's what we all want in the end.
The replies so far are surprising IMO. If this color scheme and similar graphic was on a new pedal of whatever sort a lot of people around here would HATE the graphics, say how it wasn't tasteful, give it a googly eyed emoji. The power that John Mayer has to change minds.
I don’t think this has as much to do with John Mayer as you think. If you grew up when I did and loved skateboarding, you’d love those skateboard graphics even if it was on a pedal, or a guitar. It’s a cool design and a great idea for a guitar.
Freakin' A. Love the look.
