With a Dumble cab, let's not forget that..

I think it's very cool, he mentioned that he has his favorite amps profiled.

For someone who regularly uses real amps that are dialed in how they like them, getting a Kemper as a "b-rig" seems like a no brainer. Just set your amps how you like them, profile them and you're good to go!

His "travel" rig is the size of a refrigerator. I gotta think you can get the job done under 600 pounds and 30 cubit feet. Just sayin'

I had a similar thought. But I guess if you have someone to carry it around for you... I was wondering what hotels are thinking when John Mayer rolls in and they see his crew bringing in a road case and guitar. They must be terrified that he's got an amp in there that he'll be cranking. And maybe he is...

It's just a 4U rack and a 1x12 inside of a flight case. That's not very big, really.

Yeah about a week ago someone asked him if he had an Axe FX on periscope to which he replied no but I have a Kemper. He went on to say he really liked it and it was kinda scary how close it was but was missing just a little something for him. Skip the video to 12:35.

There's fanboys already? Nobody has heard it properly yet..?

I thought it would have hurt the feelings of the Fractal fans more.

and so it begins... just wait until the other TGP favs like EJ make a move to modelers even in practice rigs. ;)

I'm very happy with my GT-100 (and its' price)...it's also working for Johnny Marr ;)

I'm GASing for a Helix and a Marr Jag...honestly, I don't need either. Instead, I'm having my right arm tattooed with a nearly full sleeve, all the out line was completed yesterday. By the time I'm done, I could have either a Helix or Marr Jag with some $ left over.

Oh come on. This is TGP. People love or complain about some gear the moment it is announced. They don't need to wait till it's actually out. :rotflmao

Very Cool.. Mayer's a great player. If the Kemper gives him what he wants, then rock on Mayer. Since he's running it through a Dumble cab, would someone profile the amp's differently, because he's not running FRFR?

Now I don't want one. And I wish he'd go crawling back to Fender already.
