He did it in the pros, when he scored a TD in garbage time last week against Buffalo. A meaningless TD while the Browns still lost.

So yeah, he had it coming.

I don't get caught up in it all the way so many do and I certainly have no emotional currency tied up in any football team or how Manziel does. But, you would think, at some point, he'd reel in his arrogance a bit until he has something to brag about.

    But, I guess not.

He gets a first down, and the announcers compare him to Russell Wilson.

    Guys, get a grip. :bonk

He can't see over the offensive line.

Boy, that game was worse than a final preseason game played by a bunch of guys who won't be there next week.

Definitely not Manziel's fault. OL was terrible. Receivers simply don't understand yet. Defense lost 3 DBs throughout the game. DL and LBs couldn't stop the run. Probably the worst we've seen of the Browns in a long time.

The question is: Where does the team go from here?

I'll cut him just a little bit of slack, that O line was invisible. He didn't look like he's anywhere near being ready nor show any signs that he will ever be... but good lord it looked like was going to get killed out there.

I think the whole team wanted to get rid of him. At least that's how they played: no guts, grit, punch, enthusiasm--nothing. It was like watching a Pro Bowl team.

you are clueless , he doesn't have small hands

He can throw the ball, not an issue.

    MANZIEL – 5’11 and ¾, 207 with 9 7/8 hands.
    BRIDGEWATER – 6’2 1/8, 214 with 9 ¼ hands.
    BORTLES – 6’5, 232 with 9 3/8 hands.

There goes any credibility you imagined you had. :rotflmao

The Brown's offensive and defensive lines were no shows today.

No QB would have been able to over come that today.

Time will tell what becomes of Manziel. The way the team played today was so bad it would be easy to imagine a conspiracy. Lol.

I'm neutral on Johnny and watched the first half simply out of curiosity. I agree on the raw talent. He had some nice scrambles that would have made excellent plays except for the inaccurate passing. I'm interested to see how he develops.
