Never seen his named mentioned on any message board, but the guy is an awesome guitarist.

He does great versions of The Doors Light My Fire and Elvis' Mystery Train

I agree, insane ability. If you have time, look up his version of Purple Haze live on Youtube. Also, a great interpreter of songs with his singing.

I've mentioned him here. He is my first real influence (well, besides Chuck Berry). When I was about 13, I learned the entire Feliciano! LP. That's really how I learned to play guitar.

He does a lot more than what's widely known. Here in Connecticut he used to drop in at jam night at clubs. He didn't like to jam with people but he did like rocking out.
He's always doing some charity gig or another to help out a local church or aid society. Anyway, I've seen him a couple times and he really does like to smoke up some old rock tunes.

He is a fantastic guitarist. I think he even had a variety show on TV in the early 70's.

I just read he's singing the National Anthem at the home opener for the Miami Marlins.

There's a "Jose, can you see" joke in there, but I won't do it.

I had the pleasure of seeing Jose in +/- 1975 at Westchester Community College in a show opened by Seals and Crofts.

After a couple of Latino tunes he paused and asked the "crowd" (all 34 of us) "do you wanna boogie?" Repeat..."do you wanna Boogie?" of course we were all hootin' and hollerin'.... Next he spins back on his stool, sticks a finger up his nose, whirls back around front with a (assumed) snot-clad finger thrust into the spotlight and says "here's a boogie". Then he ripped into a bunch of Stevie Wonder **** that could have stopped a train..... This one little dude making all that emotion with one, stinking guitar.

One great guitarist, incredible singer, and truly great performer.
