Axually I did listen to it on the other thread, Sorry for not commenting. Nice crisp tone, your playing is excellent as always Marin. Opposed to my take, yours was aggressive, mine being more laid back. I like to hear the different approaches to these bt's. That what makes the music world go round!

That is some badass playing, Marin! Tons of attitude and tone to match.

Thanks guys. The Strat is made from heavy Northern Ash. It has such a stong attack that it simply calls for a slightly agressive style.

I love playing it (sitting down). :)

Just in case: I meant to say: "No agreed with the fact that you can't transfer feeling into that kind of playing".

hehe, sorry, forgot the smiley face after my comment. I took it as a good natured jab at me.

Several of you here do transfer the feeling to your playing. Ive always felt that you can take a guitar player that is very "book smart" and he can play scales till his fingers bleed but it doesn t have the same "feel" to it of the guy that is standing there soloing away to a nice groove with his eyes shut.

My last attempt on the beckish backing is the most satisfying guitar ive played yet and its one of the few that i am truly happy with and proud of. I didnt play notes on a page and, truth be told, i played a good bit of that with my eyes shut. Sometimes i just "feel" the music and it motivates me and the notes just seem to flow, they arent forced or practiced. There are several of you guys here that play that way, to me.

in case you missed it, here is the clip of mine i was referring to.
