Journo's Vanelli track with remixed lead

    Hi Guys,

    Here is the clip I posted to Tonegurus thread. I remixed the lead with no delay at all. Just some IR1 reverb by Waves. Nothing else. I was pretty happy with the playing. I had never played to the backing in its entirety and this was the one and only full take. I had recorded a 1 minute test first. I eared it as I went.

    Amp is Fender/Fuchs/Lerner protomule mod. Baker B1. Tonespotter speaker. SM57 mic and Groove Tibes Brick preamp.

    Amazing tone and playing Scott! I can hear a great woody yet bitting tone, it really breathes!

    Its good to heat the B1 for a change. I don't thiink you can beat the RF for dynamics though.

    Hi Scott,

    It plain sucks that I can't do my own backing tracks as much justice as you. ;)

    I just have to find a teacher who can give me a few hints on how to overlay notes that way you do. Just good music.

    Great playing Scott! I loved the opening maj against the minor thing. Its funny you talked me into turning my gain up, and you are using much less than I did on my Fuchs clips. Ill have to try a clip with less gain next time. Great tone, as well as overall feel! Loved it!

    Great... another clip from Scott that makes me feel like chucking my guitar out the window. :D

    I must say, I enjoyed the tone from your Fuchs/Scott modded Fender as much as your flagship Fuchs. Really sings!!

    Oh yeah... as usual, yer shredding!
