Continuing on my nashville session gun quest (the tom bukovac thread i started) I'm also interested in JT. Love some of his playing on the Richard Marx albums also (along with Michael Thompson and Landau etc). Any ideas about his rig? guitars? etc?

JT Corenflos is one bad-ass mu*f**cka......I am not goofin' around here kids...
he gets great tone....he understands that long-forgotten concept of what great rhythm guitar with nasty-ass pocket is....AND.....he's a super sweet cat....
what the hell else do you want?
i've spent many hours in the trenches working with/marvelling at this fella'....
    he is the real deal.

    love

So are there any specific examples of song JT has performed on?

To answer my own question above (!), I love his playing on the Dierks Bentley and Luke Bryan albums. Killer Tele pickin'.

If not mistaken, this is the guy from the band Palomino Road, early nineties? Anyways, I think this is the guy - check him out at about 1:10 minutes; remember, this is 16 years ago!

Not sure if that's him in the vid, but it sounds a lot more like Brent Mason playing...

funny you mention that...i was on a demo session with jt years ago, and when he started noddling/loosening up, just about everyone in the control room (that wasn't familiar with his playing) did a double take to see if brent had snuck in...jt has the brent mason thaaang down just about as good as brent mason does ;)
