I was in the mood for some classic 70's Priest today (by far my favorite era). As expected the boys are in top form here... especially with the mighty Les Binks behind the kit!

Awesome! Thanks for posting. I've been listening to Sad Wings lately on the way into work!

I don't know if its from this tour or now, but Unleashed in the East is one of the best metal albums of all time.

I just watched the Rob Halford rock legends show on VH1 Classic this past Saturday and he makes mention of the fashion at the time. It was very shortly after this recording where he decided to go the leather-biker S&M route which ended up defining the "heavy metal" look.

The cover of "Unleashed..." features the new leather fashion and that was only one year later than this youtube clip.

Classic Priest is pretty much untouchable.

When I was a teenager it did not occur to me that Rob was Gay.
Now I see this video and it is quite obvious.
It is sad that He had to " hide it " for so long.
    Great singer !.

It looks like Rob is wearing the same white shirt as the first time I saw them, around Stained Class time. They were opening for BTO with Foghat headlining, 1978 I looked it up. I believe this was prior to Unleashed, they were already leathered out by Unleashed.

I love this show. I like how Tipton does the Tommy Bolin thing with the Echoplex at the beginning of "Starbreaker". The quality of the tape isn't great but Priest were on fire during this period.
