Here are some clips I made of my Juke 1210 Vintage model. 6L6 tubes and Jensen Speakers. I also have a Juke extension cab with a 15" Weber Michigan speaker. With both cabs going, I get a huge sounds with tons of low end. It sounds great to me.

The clips were recorded with a stereo microphone about two feet in front of the Juke 1210 amp. the extension cab was plugged in and right next to the Juke amp but the mic as mostly aimed at the amp, but I'm sure sound from the 15" cab found its way to the mic.

The first clip was recorded with my white Univox High Flyer guitar on the neck pick-up. The second clip was with my yellow Domino Phantom guitar on the neck pick-up. For both clips, the guitars were plugged straight into the amp. I was also bending the whammy bar on both guitars. I often like to pick or strum the strings right next to the bridge for a thinner, brighter, crappier sound.:D

If you think the sound needs more middle or less middle etc. The amp has plenty of control for the entire range of EQ - I could have set it to sound different. I also could have set the amp to give a cleaner sound.

The reverb is on. The tremolo is on. The vibrato is on.

I'm not a fancy player. I like the sound of old Link Wray recordings and this amp gets me that. I also like the cool looking cheapo guitars that many players would never want to touch - so take that into consideration with these clips. A different guitar will sound different.

The amp can get the sounds on these clips at both quiet or loud volumes.

For bedroom level volumes I disconnect the extension cab. For band volume levels, the extension cab along with the amp's one 12" and two 10" speakers gives a huge full sound.

Yeah, just plug into any 4 ohm cab. I had expected the ohms to drop when plugging in the extension cab but Gary said the amp has internal switching so the 1210 speakers stay at 4 ohms as does the extension cab. The Juke has a brilliant design all around.

Great clips Ted! I can definately hear the more Fender inspired tone in those Vintage clips... and nothing wrong with the playing at all. One of the best examples of the Trem/Vibrato I've hear yet. All these clips going around are getting me excited!

Cool stuff Ted! I can see why you like the Juke, as it really seems to fit your style. I enjoy hearing how different players can come up with a variety of sounds out of similar/same amps!

That's my kind of music Ted. With the vibrato, tremolo and bar I heard Kevin Shields a little bit. That extension cab is a cool idea and it looks badazz.

Thanks everyone for the kind comments.

EZ - yeah, years ago I really liked My Bloody Valentine and other noise bands - the jesus and mary chain first album Psychocandy. before that I liked Hardcore punk from the late 70s, early 80s. More recently I've been into Link Wray, Davie Allan, Dick Dale and any other old early 60s instrumental music that has that the punk attitude for it's time. Plus I've liked lots of other music I haven't listed here.

Yeah, the Juke does exactly what I want in an amp. I'm so thrilled with it. I like that it has tons of tone knobs and the ampeg reverberocket style reverb plus tremolo and vibrato and sounds great at all volumes. Plus it has that cool angled front. I'm so glad someone made all the things I wanted in ONE amp.:drool

I just added a clip with a cleaner sound.
It's the Univox guitar with Snake Oil Strings - which I like - they give a good thick sound but have a little bit of finger squeak for me. I tried rubbing some Dunlop 65 Ultraglide conditioner to try to remove the squeak. It seemed o.k. at first but the next day I think my strings went dead. So the clips with the univox guitar have strings that might be on the dead side.

The clips with the yelloe Domino guitar have D'Addario half round strings.
