just bought Fender Mustang I V2 20-Watt 1x8-Inch Combo Electric Guitar Amplifier

    i was originally looking at amps this size for the fender champion series since I don't really sample or record. But even if you don't do that, you get huge range in this amp. It is actually designed to simulate multiple amps, including 50s and 60s style which are my favorite with some reverb.

    And at 20 watt, it's big enough to take to an open mic if you want (will likely need to mic it)

    How do you like it? At their price point, I've always been intrigued as a practice amp and grab-n-go.

    If you play music that doesn't push it past its peak, some small amps can sound great from my experience, they of course do have to be mic'd if your doing a large room or have a loud drummer.
