This guy is amazing. If you have a chance to talk to some Nashville session players you will def. here this guy's name in the first 5 minutes. Such a humble guy too.

I have had the extreme pleasure of living in the same area as Jack and have been able to see him live in many different ways (small clubs, big stage, with many other artists) over the years. He has always been one of the most influential guitarists to me.

A couple of years ago one of my good friends was telling me about his fiance's uncle and how good of a player he was. Low and behold it ended up being Jack Pearson. This granted me some conversations with him and as said above he is a very humble and generous person.

Here are some videos I put together some time ago of some favorite tunes of Jack.

All great stuff there guys. I too love the fact he plays jazz, blues, rock, slide, clean, gainy etc all with ease!

Gotta get some more of his CDs now...

Jack Pearson is one of the finest guitar players I have ever heard. I was lucky enough to catch him twice with ABB. He is just brilliant.

Hey Jack, come to Chicago some time, willya ??

I am quite new to this fella. I first saw him on the VVT amp site doing stuff with an X-40, which I am waiting for one of right now. I really dig this little amp, but the one I tried out was having some issues. Does Jack ever play these in real life? I can't wait to get my hands on that thing. He just kills! Such fantastic phrasing, and finger use. Well, y'all just convinced me. I am buying his cd, Do What's Right, now!

He is so good it's almost not fair. It's a pleasure to live on the same planet as a guy who plays so well.

Sweet! Just ordered the second night. Thanks for posting this. Last time I saw ABB was opening for the Dead in '04 at the Gorge in WA state.
    Best concert backdrop EVER!
