Just discovered ORCHID (Sabbath fans unite!)

Man, these guys are REALLY good! The influence is beyond subtle, as these guys seem to be picking up where Sabbath left off in the 70's. Amazing band...

The 2 EP's and the full length are all outstanding. I absolutely LOVE these guys.

Good band. The main difference between these dudes and the slew of other BS clones out there is....these guys can actually write some songs.

If you like classic Sabbath, think Vol 4 and Master of Reality, you're going to like this band. A lot. Yea, they aren't doing anything new but they're doing the Sabbath sound perfectly. It's funny, the original Sabbath.... (well, without Bill but that's a whole 'nother story) are recording a new album and I'm willing to bet that Orchid is going to sound more like classic Sabbath than what they put out.

Usually I can't stand bands that sound exactly like other bands but these guys just do it so damn well that I can easily look past it.

Check out a few tracks and it'll instantly sound familiar but at the same time, exciting because it's not a song you've heard before.
