1. The Gear Page is run by musicians for musicians. We listen, we learn and if we misstep we are not afraid to do the right thing. We proposed some changes to the Emporiums. Based on feedback from members, we have decided to not go ahead with those changes. However, it has also highlighted that we need some community input into what is working and what is not working for members here. Primarily focused on the Emporiums, we'd like input on your thoughts about TGP and how things work in the Emporiums for you and how you'd improve them. The discussion thread on the is here!

Brandon at Willcutt Guitars recommended this pedal to me and it is the most amp like distortion sound I have found in a pedal. I actually reminds me of a Klon but with more gain. I use it with the compression switch set to the middle position which is with the compression off. It is louder and much more open sounding than in the Norm or Andy Timmons settings. I play it through my Two Rock Onyx clean channel and I like the overdrive tone through this setup better than the actually overdrive channel on the Onyx. It is just a glorious tone. Not sure why it took me so long to get this pedal. Best overdrive pedal I have ever owned.

I have a plain orange one and I'm always amazed by just how good the pedal sounds.

Really tempting to get the comp version since it has all 3 versions in one pedal.

That is the one I have. I like it best in the middle with no compression.
