Just got a D.A.M. Greasebox. Holy...

It does exactly what I was hearing on the youtube clips. It gives incredible grind and it let's the character of the guitar come through. That beautiful resonant thing. Do not misunderstand, I am not talking about a clean fundamental coming through that may fight with the grind part. This pedal is seamless. It grinds and it is beautful!. Just fantastic!! Slamming it with various pedals is great as well. I am looking forward to my BJFE Honeybee in a week as another option to slam the pedal.

Been curious about this one. What kind of fuzz is it?

This one is the silicone fuzz. It cuts incredibly well. After all of the various fuzz units I have had over the years, this is right on the money with what I want to hear. Has an upper mid push, but is not strident or spikey. That said, it has more teeth and is not a smooth, or perfectly smooth fuzz. SUPER responsive to pick attack and subtle shades. Responsive to guitar volume. Really nice and worth the money. Well, to me.

It is a fuzz for sure. Back off on the guitar volume and the chime/clean od shines. Really cool pedal, very intuitive.
